Maverick is a great cologne smelling scent and I don't get a licorice scent from it like the person who wrote a 3 star review about it. It's just a great cologne vibe type scent that I recommend everyone getting. Also Maverick use to be called Jedi before they renamed it Maverick.
I am very pleased and would recommend the Maverick balm, butter and beard oil. I’m also using the beard shampoo and conditioner. My beard feels a lot softer and comfortable now. I also like the hold that I get using the balm and butter..
Not sure what the scent profile is "Supposed" to be, but initial scent is black licorice. Once it settles, its more of cologne and some other minor notes. The black licorice is a no bueno for me. Of the scents I've tried from MSG this is the only one that isn't stellar.
